London Art Itinerary
We invite our esteemed guests to celebrate the launch of The Middle Eight Hotel London Art Itinerary, with two complimentary sessions open for booking.
Date: Saturday, 5th October
Time: 10:00am-1:00pm or 2:00pm-5:00pm
Place: Please meet at Middle Eight Hotel, our session will then take us around local destinations
Explore some of the most renowned destinations for art and culture, located moments from the Middle Eight front door. Directed by Curator and Historian Kate Fensterstock, The Middle Eight Hotel London Art Itinerary represents the must-visit exhibitions, performances and showcases all within a short walk between stops.
Our Saturday event features our inaugural itinerary, launching a series whereby each future session will be carefully regenerated every 6-8 weeks.
The session begins with an introduction of the day’s focus, complete with prestigious yet accessible areas of learning and analysis. A site for art and culture in our own right, we start with a guided tour of the current programme at Middle Eight, entitled Urban Oasis.
Our expedition then takes us into London to the finest galleries, museums and public installations, complete with lectures from Kate, and group debate and discussion. The morning and afternoon sessions reflect the same selection, so please choose the slot that best suits your schedule.
RSVP is required as places are limited to 10 guests. Bookings are first come first serve, although we will run a wait list as needed. Please be aware we will be on foot for most of the session, so prepare accordingly with appropriate clothing. Please do not be late as it inconveniences other guests. We may not be able to accommodate latecomers.
